World’s Best Vineyards holds annual events to announce a list of the best vineyard experiences across the world.
For its 2023 edition hosted in Rioja, I was commissioned to create a design that could be carried across their multimedia assets, to promote and announce the world's top wine tourism destinations.
In collaboration with Stefano Cosimini, we developed a brand new design for World's Best Vineyards, using earthy tones and paint brush strokes.
The theme was a sense of adventure and sophistication, whilst retaining a natural, warm feel associated with vineyards.
The task was to create a set of announcement videos to reveal the list of the World's Best Vineyards online, as well as a keynote format that could be used at the live event.
The top 50 announcement was preceded by a 51-100 list, a selection of vineyards that placed lower in ranking but deserved a moment in the spotlight.
For this announcement, we developed a shorter, snappier video, with similar key visuals that beared enough resemblance to the hero list without creating confusion between the two.
Social Media Edits
To reveal the list on Instagram, we adapted the animated announcement video to a portrait format and split it into sequences of 10.
As a key opening element, we designed a logo animation for World's Best Vineyards to make it stand out.
